University of Wisconsin - Stout employees were recognized for years of service during a program held Monday, Nov. 14, at the Memorial Student Center. A total of 117 employees were honored for reaching milestones ranging from 10 years to 40 years. Each honored employee received a commemorative tackette, or pin. The University Library staff congratulate Cyrilla, Matt, and Susan on their impressive accomplishments.
Cyrilla Face started working at the library on January 5, 1976 and is celebrating an impressive 40 years of service. Cyrilla serves as the Acquisitions Assistant and is responsible for processing the orders and invoices for books, movies and music that get added to the physical collection. In her time outside of the library, she enjoys reading, photography, gardening, and traveling.
Matt Decker-Maurer is celebrating 10 years of service at UW-Stout. Matt has worked as an IS Support Technician in the library since 1997. Before coming to the University Library, he performed a number of IS jobs on the Stout Campus, including several years as a supervisor for the ASK5000 HelpDesk. His work focuses on hardware support and server operations. He also assists other members of the Library Systems and Web work groups. In his free time outside of the library, Matt enjoys reading, writing, music, art, cooking, and homebrewing Belgian Ales.
Susan Lindahl is celebrating 10 years of service at the University Library. Since starting at the library in 2006, Sue has worked in Access Services/Circulation, Library Systems, Reference, Instruction, Interlibrary Loan, and Cataloging. Currently, Sue serves as the Interim Library Director and is responsible for administration of University Library services and teaching information literacy classes for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Dietetics.
